
Professor Eddie Solis
Professor Eddie Solis began his martial arts journey in 1973, training in KAJUKENBO—the original mixed martial arts. He earned his Black Belt in 1976 and opened his first studio in San Pablo, CA in 1982. A decorated competitor, he was named California Middleweight Competitor of the Year in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1988, and was ranked 3rd in the Western Region of the U.S. for fighting. He holds an 8th-degree Black Belt and continues to train in Jiujitsu, Filipino Martial Arts, and Muay Thai Kickboxing.With over four decades of teaching experience, Professor Solis has played a foundational role in establishing a martial arts legacy that continues to serve the community. Passionate about empowering others, he is dedicated to helping students develop into confident leaders and positive role models in our society.
